The Yokomo YOKCSDOT2 is a silicone-based oil formulated for gear-type differentials in R/C vehicles. As a tuning fluid, it alters the internal slip characteristics to influence traction transfer and mid-corner balance on 1/10 on-road and touring chassis.

Fit it as a direct replacement: disassemble the differential, remove the existing fluid, and apply the recommended amount of this super flex Dot 2 to the gears and cavity. Its softer viscosity delivers a more gradual transfer of drive compared to higher weight oils.

Setup guidance: softer oils typically enhance turn-in and traction on lower grip surfaces but can reduce firm locking during heavy acceleration. Make incremental changes and trial on the track to find what complements your setup and driving. Regularly check seals and watch for any leaks after refilling to ensure reliable behaviour.
