The Yokomo YOKD123 aluminium lower caster block set gives a fixed 10° lower caster choice aimed at improving handling balance. These machined aluminium units substitute the stock plastic blocks to provide a firmer anchor point for the lower suspension arm and steering knuckle. As an aftermarket tuning element, they are intended to alter caster and steering behaviour rather than to be used solely for repairs.

Changing to a more rigid lower caster block affects roll centre and steering return, which can produce crisper turn-in and more predictable straight-line tracking. Use them as part of a considered setup alteration when seeking firmer steering feedback or a modest increase in self-centering at the front axle. They are intended for 1/10 touring and similar chassis where hub geometry is compatible.

Installation requires standard suspension strip-down to reach the lower arm pivot and knuckle; double-check hole alignment and appropriate fastener lengths for your chassis before final tightening. After fitting, verify steering travel and absence of binding, then re-evaluate toe and camber settings because caster changes will impact overall wheel alignment.
