The Arrowmax am-210038 silicone shock fluid is an RC-scale accessory for damping systems. As a silicone oil it maintains consistent viscosity under load to control rebound and compression in small dampers, enabling more predictable handling without modifying mechanical components.
For servicing: empty the old oil, inspect seals and piston condition, then top up to the appropriate level for your damper design. The 400cst viscosity is relatively firm and is suited to setups where reduced piston speed helps steady the chassis.
Work cleanly to avoid contamination, keep oil away from threadlocker and debris, and remove surplus from shock bodies after filling. Dispose of used fluid under local synthetic oil regulations and store the bottle upright in a cool, shaded place.
Setup guidance: oil viscosity interacts with piston hole size, spring stiffness and mounting geometry. Change only one variable at a time and log lap times or handling notes so you can accurately assess the effect of each adjustment.
