This 1/12 assembly kit recreates the Yamaha YZR-M1 Valencia Edition No.46 as a detailed static model, aimed at modellers concentrating on presentation and prototype accuracy.
The YZR-M1's evolution in the early 2000s focused on refining power characteristics and handling. The layout used an inline-four engine, a reduced-height fuel tank and a rear shock mounting close to the crankcase to concentrate mass. Chassis stiffness, braking improvements and updates to torque control systems were part of the development that aided the factory team's results. The Valencia Edition livery features a distinct white and red block design associated with Yamaha's competition history.
The kit reproduces the frame and engine outlines associated with the YZR-M1, including the twin-tube delta box frame and the inline-4 engine block. Cartograf-printed decals are included to render the No.46 markings. Front and side fairings are removable after construction to display the frame and engine details. The tyres come in synthetic rubber and the model is supplied as multiple plastic parts requiring painting and finishing.
An accurate 1/12 scale representation of the Yamaha YZR-M1 Valencia Edition No.46 that delivers detailed bodywork and engine forms for collectors and display-focused modellers.
