A 1/12 scale assembly plastic model kit representing the Yamaha YZR500 in the Ralph Anderson Baribari Legend SP339 configuration, produced as a display-oriented scale recreation for skilled builders.
The Yamaha YZR500 belongs to Yamaha's high-performance 500cc two-stroke racing lineage developed for premier Grand Prix competition. These 500cc prototypes were tuned for top speed and responsive handling on international race tracks, prompting advances in chassis and engine design to cope with demanding performance requirements. The period emphasised both mechanical progression and rider technique under high-speed conditions.
Kit information is kept distinct from the motorcycle history. The model is rendered in 1/12 scale and includes a white body shell and white wheel components. Clear parts are supplied for the windscreen and light lenses where applicable. Rubber tyres are included. The moulded parts number 171 pieces and assembled dimensions are approximately 167mm long, 52mm wide and 95mm high. Paints and glue are not supplied.
Decal sheets and team markings reference the Lucky Strike Team Roberts livery and the #44 rider identity per the original release details. Builders wanting an authentic finish should plan for intricate painting and careful decal placement. Standard modelling adhesives and a choice of paints appropriate to the white body and wheel parts are required for assembly.
A detailed 1/12 scale kit suited to collectors and advanced modellers aiming for accurate period livery and a display-level finish.
