M4WD-27 M2 x 35 socket button screw for Mini 4WD repair work

This M2 x 35 socket button screw is offered as a simple replacement for Mini 4WD body and chassis fixings. The thread size and length are listed in the product title to help modelers check fit with common compatible Tamiya 1/32 Mini 4WD mounts and post fittings. The description emphasises compatibility and sensible use rather than making material claims.

Keeping a supply of correctly sized screws cuts repair time during maintenance or rebuilds. Check thread engagement and ensure the 35 mm length clears any plates or internal parts before tightening to avoid stripping delicate posts. For panels fitted with brass inserts or captive nuts, confirm insertion depth to avoid interference.

Consider this a straightforward spare part: verify thread pitch if in doubt and keep screws organised by length to prevent mixing with shorter M2 fasteners. No assembly tools or extras are included with the screw.

Excellent service, two of the items I purchased were out of stock but was given fair options on refund, store credit or replacement. I opted for replacement as there was a different version available and one of the items did arrive bent and they sent out
Verify your post uses M2 thread and that 35 mm is an appropriate length for the combined thickness of the post and any internal parts before installation.
No special hardware is required if the brass insert accepts M2; just confirm that the screw length does not bottom out against other components.
A correctly sized Allen or hex driver for the socket head prevents cam-out and helps you apply steady torque without damaging the head.
Where posts are thin or fragile, a backing nut or insert gives a more secure connection than direct threading into the post.
Label small trays or bags with screw lengths and intended chassis types so you can quickly grab the correct M2 x 35 part during a repair.
