The Serpent 500897 rod end is an aftermarket replacement designed for dampers that accept 13mm rod ends. Supplied as a +3 offset set of 4 pcs, it is intended to provide a slight increase in rod-end projection for subtle geometry changes.

To install, disassemble the damper as usual, swap the old rod end for the +3 unit and confirm full thread engagement and free movement of the linkage. Standard RC maintenance tools will handle the job; this product is marketed as a model suspension accessory rather than an OEM component.
