Renowned for its six-wheel layout, the Tyrrell P34 is a standout in F1 history. Tamiya's 1/20 scale kit reproduces the 1977 Monaco GP car with accurate moulded parts and period detail. The model showcases the P34's unique engineering and race presence.
Introduced in the mid 1970s, the P34 experimented with four front wheels to refine handling and airflow. The 1977 livery featured blue and white colours due to First National City Bank sponsorship. Although tyre development proved challenging, drivers like Patrick Depailler and Ronnie Peterson campaigned the car across the season.
The kit contains a detailed Ford Cosworth DFV engine and a faithful gearbox representation, plus authentic wheel parts and a driver figure for display. Decals are included for both Depailler and Peterson, allowing historically accurate finishes.
