Precision lightweight upgrade for TC-01 and TA-08

The Tamiya 22016 - TA08 Low Friction King Pin Balls are intended to refine handling on TC-01 and TA-08 platforms. These anodized aluminium suspension balls replace the stock steel items and reduce un-sprung weight by around 0.4 grams per ball, aiding responsiveness and traction.

Cleaner suspension operation

By lowering contact friction at the king-pin, these low friction balls help the suspension move with less resistance. The hard anodized aluminium improves wear resistance and stiffness. They are suitable for both front and rear installation and require two sets for a complete changeover.

Compatibility and fitting guidance

Manufactured specifically for the TC-01 and TA08 PRO chassis, these are direct replacements for 7mm suspension balls and king-pins. For a comprehensive refresh, fit them alongside TC-01 C/D suspension items (51663) and TA08 D suspension arms (51669). Each upright needs one ball on top and one at the bottom for correct assembly.
