The HM1023TM aluminium servo saver, supplied with a matching aluminium tie rod, fits the TAMIYA M1025 Hummer and is aimed at delivering reliable steering control. The 23-tooth spline interface secures the connection while permitting controlled slip to reduce the chance of servo gear damage during impacts.
Fitting replaces the original plastic saver and tie rod and uses existing mounting points on the M1025 Hummer. During installation, ensure the spline is fully engaged and that the saver rotates freely before applying final torque; recheck servo centring after the swap to maintain straight steering.
By replacing pliant linkages with an aluminium rod, steering compliance is lowered and steering inputs become more repeatable for precise setup work.
