Precision HUDY pinion engineered for lightweight strength

The HUDY 294033 aluminium ultra-light pinion is produced for enthusiasts seeking a balance of low rotating mass and solid material strength. Built from 7075 T6 aluminium, the gear is suited to demanding 1/10 scale applications where weight and reliability matter.

Surface hardening for improved wear resistance

The hard coat applied to the pinion enhances tooth surface hardness and resistance to wear. Precision CNC work focuses on removing unnecessary material while retaining the core strength needed for sustained use.

Low vibration thanks to true tooth geometry

Every pinion goes through detailed tooth shaping and individual checks to ensure true running. This process reduces drivetrain vibration and supports consistent handling at higher speeds.

Easy mounting and tooth count engraving

The pinion has fine internal threads for straightforward mounting on compatible motor shafts and features an etched tooth count to help you identify gear ratios quickly during setup.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is compatible with many 1/10 scale cars that use 48-pitch gears. Always check your vehicle uses 48-pitch and that the motor shaft thread matches the pinion internal thread before fitting.
Replacement depends on use and wear. Inspect teeth after hard sessions; if you see rounding or pitting on tooth faces, replace the pinion to avoid spur damage and poor mesh.
The coating is designed to preserve the original tooth form, so standard mesh setting procedures apply. Set gear mesh as normal and recheck after initial runs to ensure stability.
