The XRAY 308307-O T4 Aluminum Shock Absorbers are designed to reduce the centre of gravity on your electric touring car, improving balance and steadiness when pushing through corners. The orange hard anodised finish combines a neat look with long-term resistance to wear.

Fine Damping Control

These units use an SLP or Super Low Profile approach to keep the chassis flatter and minimise traction roll. They come with interchangeable internal parts and fixed precision pistons offered in 3-hole or 4-hole patterns and 1.0mm, 1.1mm, and 1.2mm piston diameters for detailed damping adjustment.

Kit Details and Exclusions

The set contains the parts required to assemble two shocks. Springs and shock oil are excluded and must be bought separately to complete installation. The precisely formed pistons help ensure smooth shaft movement and repeatable damping on the track.

Do these suit high-bite or low-bite tracks better?

The piston choices allow you to tune for either condition. Use smaller piston holes or fewer holes for higher damping on high-bite surfaces, and larger holes for quicker response on low-bite tracks.

How important is piston selection versus oil weight?

Both matter. Piston hole pattern changes flow characteristics while oil viscosity further refines damping speed. Combine piston choice with oil selection to dial in the handling you need.

Will the orange coating chip easily?

The orange is a hard anodised coating that resists chipping and wear under normal use, though heavy impacts or abrasive conditions can eventually show wear like any metal finish.

Is shock length adjustable within this set?

Shock length is set by the body and mounting hardware provided. You can alter ride height and leverage with spring choice and suspension geometry rather than changing the fixed shock length.
