The XRAY 368101 - 13.2mm Big Bore Front Shock Absorbers are built to improve front-end stability and traction on carpet and harder-packed tracks. Increased bore size gives more oil capacity for steadier damping during heavy impacts.

Technical Highlights and Tuning Choices

Choose between 2.0mm and 2.5mm pistons to tailor response to grip and jump profiles. The X-rings arrive pre-oiled to ensure low friction and better resistance to abrasive particles. The eccentric lower mounting pivot ball lets you adjust shock angle to influence handling balance.

Fitting Advice and Important Notes

Included composite bushings are made for aluminium shock caps and should not be fitted to composite caps. Verify the X-rings are oiled before you assemble the shocks. Lower pivot balls are necessary for mounting and must be sourced from your kit or purchased if not available.

Can I use the bushings with composite shock caps?

No. The composite bushings in this set are intended for aluminium shock caps only and should not be used with composite caps.

Where do I get the lower pivot balls if missing?

Lower pivot balls are normally supplied in the XB2 kit; if they are missing, they can be bought as spare parts from XRAY dealers or hobby stockists.
