High Precision XRAY Pinion for Consistent Mesh

The XRAY 385615 Steel Pinion Gear is designed to deliver steady drivetrain performance. This 15 tooth, 48 pitch pinion is precision-cut from steel to maintain accurate tooth profiles and enhance power transfer efficiency. It is a reliable choice when you need consistent engagement lap after lap.

Durable Steel with Machined Chamfers

Crafted from quality steel, the pinion resists deformation and wear in repeated use. The machined chamfers on each tooth help reduce noise and lower friction at the mesh interface, supporting smoother operation and longer component life. It suits both maintenance swaps and performance upgrades.

Suitable for Multiple Setups and Ratios

With a standard 48 pitch and a 15T count, this pinion pairs with many spur gears and chassis layouts, allowing fine tuning of acceleration and top speed. It is a practical addition to any spares box for quick ratio changes or to replace worn parts during a race weekend.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Both motor types use the same mechanical pinion fittings, so the XRAY 385615 will work with either provided the shaft diameter and set screw position match the pinion bore.
Matching the pitch is essential for proper tooth engagement; this is a 48 pitch pinion, so it must be paired with a 48 pitch spur to avoid poor mesh and excessive wear.
A light film of gear grease on the spur can help reduce wear and noise, but avoid packing the mesh area as excess lubricant can attract debris and affect performance.
