Replacement rear differential shaft designed for Tamiya DF-03 models, including Dark Impact variants, carried under the part code DF03-03/HD for tuning and maintenance use.

Surface machining trims small amounts of material to lower rotating mass yet retains a robust, heavy-duty profile for the rear differential assembly. The result is reduced inertial load on the diff internals without altering intended fitment or alignment.

Fitting is a direct swap into the DF-03 rear differential carrier when replacing a worn or broken shaft. Inspect mating surfaces and bearings, apply the recommended differential grease to the gear set, and confirm clearance and alignment during a measured test run.

As a chassis-level upgrade it does not change gear ratios but can affect transient throttle behaviour and traction by slightly reducing rear rotating mass; evaluate on-track effects and adjust diff tuning and suspension as necessary.
