High-precision aluminium universal shaft for FF02

The FF02-04 aluminium universal shaft is a driveline replacement tailored to the Tamiya FF02 chassis. It replaces the original plastic-style shaft with a single-piece aluminium component while maintaining the original mounting points and geometry.

Fitting follows standard FF02 procedures: remove the factory shaft, inspect driveshaft cups and retention pins, fit the aluminium shaft into the same cups, and verify there is no binding through full suspension and steering travel. Apply thread locker to set screws or retaining hardware during reassembly to reduce the chance of loosening in service.

As an upgrade the aluminium material reduces flex under load, which can sharpen throttle response and promote steadier power transfer depending on your front/rear setup. Results are incremental and work best alongside other driveline or suspension tuning.
