This steering saver is built for Tamiya GB-01 and GB-02 chassis and features a bearing-equipped aluminium body with a light-blue anodised finish to smooth steering articulation. It replaces the standard plastic saver to deliver a metalised link in the steering train without changing servo horn geometry or mounting points.
Installation is quick: remove the OEM saver from the steering linkage, fit the alloy unit to the same mounting holes, and confirm the bearing aligns with the steering rod to minimise free play. No chassis or servo mount modification is needed on compatible GB-01 and GB-02 arrangements.
For tuning and setup the alloy saver creates a firmer path between servo output and steering links, reducing perceptible slop and improving repeatable steering response during cornering and repeated lap work. It is intended for road and controlled track environments where precise steering feel is valued.
