Aluminium ball differential compatible with TAMIYA platforms

This aluminium ball differential system is a scale RC driveline component compatible with TAMIYA FF02, M03, M03L, M03M, M04L and M04M chassis. The part features a light blue anodised aluminium finish and is intended to replace standard plastic or steel diff housings where a ball differential is used.

The unit provides a precision seating surface for the diff balls and enables tuning of differential action via shims and clutching practices typical to TAMIYA ball diffs. It is designed to fit into the existing differential assembly without modifying the motor, gearbox or electronics.

Installation guidance: confirm alignment with factory diff cups and set spur gear mesh correctly, apply thread locking to metal fasteners as appropriate, and do not over-tighten to avoid bearing preload. Regular maintenance should include cleaning gears and bearings and checking ball and race surfaces for wear.
