This aluminium bearing steering saver is an RC replacement part for the Tamiya TT-01 chassis, supplied as part TT01-07/LB. The aluminium body with a bearing interface offers a more robust alternative to the plastic savers typically fitted to budget kits.
It sits at the pivot between the servo output and the steering linkages, helping to limit wear and retain steering geometry under repeated on-road running. The light blue anodised surface is a finish choice and does not affect installation or alignment.
The unit installs as a direct replacement for the stock saver on TT-01 type steering assemblies and uses the kit mounting points and hardware. After fitting, check steering travel and linkage freeplay, then secure fasteners so the bearing turns freely without binding.
Practical notes: the part is aimed at improving longevity and giving a firmer, more consistent steering feel; it will not change servo characteristics or suspension geometry. Use it where repeatable steering response is important.
