This heatsink is intended as an accessory for the Kyosho Mini Inferno speed control area to aid heat dispersion from the ESC. The purple SSG finish identifies the MIF-020/PU/SG variant and helps with quick part selection during servicing.
By increasing exposed metal surface the heatsink helps lower peak temperatures under load, which can stabilise ESC behaviour when you run multiple high-power laps. It is a passive measure that complements good system selection and ESC programming.
During installation check alignment and clearance carefully. Ensure the heatsink does not contact gears, motor leads, or chassis fittings, and that stock mounting points remain accessible for the original screws. If the body is low, trial-fit the body mounts and steering travel to confirm no interference before final assembly.
This is not an electronic upgrade but a thermal-management accessory. Use it together with correct ESC settings and an appropriate motor to tackle thermal cutback or to improve run-to-run consistency.
