The MG214T/0.5M motor pinion is designed for RC applications that need a hardened 14-tooth metal pinion. Manufactured in 40Cr steel, the pinion matches the 0.5mm module standard and is intended for motors with a 2.2mm motor tooth diameter and a round shaft bore.
Specification notes: 14 teeth (14T), module 0.5mm, round motor hole. The pinion is clamped to the motor shaft using two 3x3 set screws arranged opposite one another to ensure balanced force on the shaft. Confirm your motor and spur gear dimensions to ensure correct mesh and fit.
Service advice: set the gear mesh correctly and tighten the set screws in turns to prevent eccentric clamping. When changing gear ratios, proceed in small increments and check motor temperatures and drivetrain noise after each change.
