Lightweight titanium turnbuckle for accurate toe adjustment

The HUDY 992540 turnbuckle set is an adjustable tie-rod solution for on-road RC models, built to help refine toe settings and steering behaviour. Opposite-threaded ends let you alter overall length quickly while the titanium construction provides corrosion resistance and a low-profile fit for tight steering assemblies.

These links are intended for competitive tuning or hobbyist setup sessions where repeatable adjustments are required. This is an R/C part and is not intended for full-size vehicle application.

Hand-start the threads and use a small hex driver or soft-jaw pliers to secure ball ends. Avoid over-torquing and inspect threads for debris before final assembly.
They work on many front and rear tie-rod positions that accept 40mm M5 links, but always verify ball socket size and thread compatibility with your specific model before fitting.
After setting toe, cycle the suspension through its range and centre the steering to ensure no binding occurs. Recheck measurements with the car settled on its wheels for accurate readings.
A light application of corrosion-inhibiting lubricant or anti-seize designed for titanium can help preserve threads and ease future adjustments; avoid heavy greases that attract dirt.
