The Tamiya 53937 LED Light Control Unit TLU-02 is aimed at hobbyists who want authentic lighting on electric RC touring cars. When combined with two TLU-01 expansion units it can manage up to 16 LED sets, producing a broad range of on-road lighting scenarios. Installation follows familiar ESC-style mounting and connections, so fitting it into most models is straightforward.

Included Light Effects

The unit offers multiple effects to reproduce common vehicle lighting:

• Headlamp and Fog Settings: Switch between headlamp, position light and fog outputs to match conditions.
• Brake and Reverse Lamps: Brake and reverse lights operate in response to control inputs for realism.
• Hazard and Passing Lights: Hazard flash activation plus passing-beam sequences to simulate real driving.
• Acceleration Pulse: Flash patterns tied to acceleration provide dynamic visual feedback.
• Siren-Like and Indicator Modes: Produce alert-style flashing and conventional indicator signals.
• Directional or Alternating Flash: Choose steady directional flashing or alternating patterns across outputs.
