The Tamiya 70229 sprocket and track assembly is aimed at hobbyists and educators who need reliable parts for tracked model projects. The set gives builders the components to prototype and refine small tracked drives.

Build Features

Contained in the kit are 32mm diameter sprockets and idler wheels that are matched for simple installation. The orange-moulded wheel parts make alignment checks easier, while the metallic gray elastomer tracks are supplied in three different lengths so you can adapt the run to your chassis.

Practical Uses

Both closed-hole sprockets and through-bored sprockets are included to support differing drive arrangements. The pack also provides two 3x100mm hex shafts and one 3x100mm standard shaft, suitable for small robot projects, tracked demonstrators and bespoke mechanical builds.
