Compact showcase for modellers

Modellers wanting a tidy way to present 1/24 scale car builds will find the Tamiya 73004 Display Case C useful. The transparent hood keeps models visible while the rigid plastic base reduces dust ingress and accidental contact.

Good balance of display area and protection

The case measures 240mm by 130mm by 110mm internally, offering enough clearance for most customised 1/24 cars while maintaining a small footprint on a shelf or cabinet.

Base designed for custom fixing

The plastic base can be adapted to suit your mounting preference. Drill for permanent posts, use small screws where appropriate, or adopt non permanent adhesives for displays you change often.

Specifications

  • Dimensions: Length 240mm, Width 130mm, Height 110mm
  • Material: Plastic

Excellent Service, Prompt Deliveries, Good Prices. One of the best, if not the best, model e-shop I have dealt with. Strongly Recommended. Keep Up the Good Work.
Measure your fitted accessories against the 110mm height. Many low-profile light bars will fit, but taller roof accessories may require removal before closing the lid.
If you choose to screw into the base, position fixings away from paintwork and chassis components. Pilot holes and small screws keep the job neat and reduce the risk of cracking the plastic.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to limit any gradual discolouration. Storing models in a cabinet or shaded display area will help maintain clarity.
For delicate bodies, use museum putty or low residue tape on the base to hold parts without stressing painted or fragile areas, and avoid adhesives that bond permanently to plastic surfaces.
