The Tamiya 74138 is designed for modellers wanting very fine cuts and sharp lines. Its 0.5mm tungsten carbide tip produces defined scribing ideal for scale detailing and panel accents.

Offered alongside three other thicknesses, this blade measures 25mm overall with a 2mm shank diameter for stable handling in small tools. Those dimensions give consistent control for delicate work.

Using With Pin Vises

Install the blade in the Tamiya holder (Item 74139) or compatible options such as Fine Pin Vise D (Item 74050) and D-R (Item 74112). Work with the blade at a 45 to 60 degree angle and draw it along the surface to score; additional passes increase clarity. A protective case is included and fits up to 10 blades for neat storage.
