Light Blue Acrylic for Modelmakers

Tamiya XF-23 Light Blue offers a practical light blue option for scale modelling and figure painting. The water-soluble acrylic resins make it appropriate for both hand brushing and airbrushing, and it adheres to styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood and most mainstream model plastics.

Smooth Finish and Layering

This paint provides even coverage and smooth layering, making it straightforward to build up colour or blend edges. It works well for trim, insignia and subtle weathering touches where control is required.

Best Practice for Spraying

When spraying, dilute with one of Tamiya's recommended thinners such as 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520 or 87077 to ensure a consistent spray pattern and to reduce the chance of nozzle blockage.
