Purpose and fit for YZ-4S

Built for 1/10 scale YZ-4S touring car configurations, this graphite center link is an RC-only suspension tuning item and is not intended for full-size vehicles. It features three selectable tie rod mounting positions so you can modify Ackermann without changing steering blocks or uprights.

Installation is a direct swap for the stock center link using the original steering linkage hardware; ensure steering travel clearance is checked at each chosen pivot before final fastener torque. Handle graphite components with care during installation to avoid over-stressing the part with excessive bolt force.

Tuning guidance: choosing inner pivot holes typically increases inner wheel angle for quicker initial turn-in, whereas outer holes reduce inner angle to stabilise corner exit. Review Ackermann changes together with toe and servo endpoints to keep steering predictable.

Compatible Models

  • YZ-4S
  • B-YZ4SF

Yes, the link is listed as compatible with B-YZ4SF and should install using the stock mounting points. Always check clearances and steering travel after fitting to confirm no interference.
In most cases yes, but confirm that your aftermarket rack maintains the same tie rod geometry and mounting spacing. If the rack shifts tie rod position significantly, verify steering travel and geometry after installation.
With the link installed, turn the wheels to full lock in both directions and observe for any binding or contact. If binding occurs at a selected pivot, reposition the tie rod or choose a different pivot and retest.
