Aluminium 1.5mm Main Chassis Designed for MS2.0

This is the Yokomo MS-002A-2 replacement main chassis for the MS2.0 RC platform, formed from a 1.5mm thick aluminium plate. The chassis is targeted at RC-scale competition and practise on high-grip surfaces, offering a lower centre of gravity than thicker plates and a controlled flexibility that helps transfer drive to carpeted track surfaces.

When assembling, fit parts using the FH socket screws specified in the original product notes to ensure secure attachment. The chassis is compatible with the MS2.0 layout and the MSR-020 series, and it acts as a tuning component that alters how the car behaves under acceleration and through turns on high-traction layouts.

For drivers tuning cars on carpet or similarly sticky surfaces, the 1.5mm aluminium mainplate offers a compromise of lower centre of gravity and modest flex that can help fine-tune traction and handling balance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Changing to the 1.5mm plate lowers the centre of gravity and introduces measured flex, which will modify weight transfer and can tighten or loosen handling depending on suspension and tyre setup.
No special modifications are required; the chassis uses the MS2.0 mounting pattern. Use the recommended FH socket screws to attach parts securely.
High-grip carpet and other sticky track surfaces benefit most, where the lower centre of gravity and modest flex improve traction and stability.
The 1.5mm aluminium offers controlled flexibility rather than maximum stiffness; while suitable for track use, it will not be as rigid as thicker plates and should be treated accordingly during aggressive running.
