Battery mounting solution for D-Max chassis

The SD-118DM assembly provides aluminium posts and collars tailored for the D-Max chassis to replace the original fittings, offering a stable locating method for the battery pack and aiding repeatable setup adjustments.

Fitment is carried out by removing the stock posts on the D-Max and locating the aluminium posts into the factory positions, then using the supplied collars, O-rings and flat head screws to fix the pack. The 3mm O-rings curb lateral movement while the collar and screw arrangement fixes vertical placement.

In terms of setup, the kit allows incremental adjustments of battery location and height to affect weight distribution and handling without the need for custom-built mounts. It is intended for RC models and for users who tune battery placement as part of chassis setup.

Remark :

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are designed for the standard D-Max mounting points. If your chassis is a variant with non-standard hole spacing or bespoke mounts, check measurements before fitting.
The collars and O-rings secure the post rather than the pack itself, so as long as the pack sits in the intended location the system allows for a variety of pack dimensions within the chassis battery bay.
No chassis modification is normally required; the posts are intended to use the existing D-Max mounting points. Confirm the stock hole pattern matches the post diameter before installation.
