This aluminium upper suspension link mount is an aftermarket replacement part made for the TAMIYA CC-02 chassis. It replaces the original plastic mount to establish a firmer pivot location for the upper suspension link.

In practice the mount helps keep the upper link aligned consistently, aiding predictable suspension geometry as you alter droop, camber or roll centre. The neutral layout is intended to secure positioning and repeatability without changing suspension travel or damping characteristics.

Fitting follows the same mounting points used by the CC-02 stock component. Remove the original upper link mount in accordance with your chassis instructions, transfer any applicable hardware and link ends, and secure this aluminium unit with the existing fasteners.
