The Arrowmax AM-910036 is a carbon rear top stiffener produced for the AM Medius MID chassis range. It is intended to alter rear torsional stiffness and deliver a consistent change in chassis flex for setup refinement.
The component installs into the rear chassis area and pairs with the existing lower plates and suspension parts to shift mid-to-rear stiffness. Fitting normally requires removal of the original top plate and the reuse of the factory mounting points and fixings, so some basic RC disassembly experience is advised.
As a tuning item, the stiffener is best used to fine tune handling balance rather than as a single fix. Increasing rear top stiffness typically reduces rear flex under lateral loads which can tighten corner entry and affect rear grip, while reducing stiffness creates the opposite effect. Implement changes in small steps and adjust toe, anti-roll bars and damper settings to complement the new chassis response.
Materials and care: the top uses carbon construction and should be protected from sharp impacts, inspected for cracks after hard running, and have fasteners torqued correctly to avoid stripping chassis mounting threads. This is a part intended for model chassis use only.
