The APC AP08038SFP propeller is supplied as an RC-scale replacement for electric slow-flyer aircraft and accepts reverse (pusher) or standard rotation mounting. The 8x3.8 label denotes a diameter and pitch pairing optimised for low-RPM, low-thrust operation typical of trainers and scale slow-flight models.

Installation fits models that take an 8-inch prop and matching hub; check shaft diameter and thread pattern before you install. The usual process is to remove the spinner or nut, position the prop on the shaft in the correct orientation for pusher or tractor use, then secure it with the original washer and nut or a suitable prop adapter.

Notes on tuning and handling: for slow-flyers the propeller influences climb performance, throttle behaviour and stall tendencies more than top speed. When converting between pusher and tractor arrangements make sure there is adequate motor cooling clearance and balance the prop prior to flight to keep vibration from affecting servos and structural parts.
