Fitting involves basic disassembly of the rear bumper area. The bar locates into the chassis pocket with a close-fitting footprint to cut down on play, and the supplied Grade 12.9 black screws are sized for metal-to-metal threads. Use medium-strength thread-lock on screws that engage metal, and apply a removable locking compound on screws that pass through the bar to keep future servicing straightforward.

Maintenance requirements are light: clean debris from the bearings periodically and recheck screw torque after initial runs. Bearings are sealed at delivery; inspect them after rough use and service or replace if rotation becomes rough or exhibits play.
