This 30x10mm cooling fan is an accessory made for ARRMA Mini Kraton 3S applications to provide focused airflow over the motor heatsink and help control temperature. The hub is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and the outer shell from 7075-T6 alloy, creating a lightweight but robust metal assembly for everyday use.

Manufacturer information records a nominal speed of 20000 rpm with a ±20% tolerance, dual ball bearings, and a recommended operating voltage range of 5V–9V with approximately 0.6A current draw. Direct connection to the receiver power line is supported but running above 9V may damage the motor.

Installation is aimed at experienced hobbyists: the fan ships pre-assembled and mounts using the supplied Grade 12.9 black flat head screws. Apply thread-lock to metal fasteners to reduce the risk of them loosening from vibration. Power may be taken from the receiver or a regulated switched BEC while respecting the voltage cap.

In practice the fan helps keep motor temperatures more consistent during short, intensive runs or repeated accelerations, which can stabilise ESC and motor behaviour without needing to change primary gearing or timing. Check that there is sufficient clearance for the fan blades and avoid contact with wiring or suspension components.
