This aluminum cooling fan assembly is an aftermarket accessory for ARRMA 6S models, intended to aid temperature control by forcing airflow through the motor heatsink. The rotor housing uses 6061-T6 aluminum and the fan cover is 7075-T6 aluminum to provide a lightweight yet stiff assembly.
Compatibility is specific: the fan is built to mount to the ARRMA Motor Heatsink V2: 4074 (ARA390304). Follow the heatsink mounting points and position the fan so it blows across the fins for the most consistent cooling performance.
Key operational data from the factory: 35x10mm size, nominal speed close to 20000 rpm with ±20% tolerance, dual ball bearings, nominal voltage 8.4V and typical current about 0.5A. Do not exceed 9V. The fan may be powered from a suitably rated receiver or auxiliary output if available.
Installation and maintenance notes: the unit ships pre-assembled; apply medium-strength threadlocker to the mounting hardware to resist vibration-related loosening. Ensure there is adequate clearance from wiring and moving suspension parts, and route the adapter cable away from hot components.
The package contains the fan assembly, mounting hardware ready for installation, and an adapter cable to connect to receiver or auxiliary outputs. Secure the M3 nuts and grade 12.9 screws and inspect them after running.
When fitted to the specified heatsink on ARRMA 6S vehicles, this compact aluminum fan supplies concentrated airflow to help manage motor temperatures during sustained high-load use.
