The Arrowmax AM-492039 tip is provided as a cutting insert only and is suitable for trimming, deburring, and sizing suspension arm and linkage holes. The tungsten steel edge is chosen for its hardness and ability to maintain a sharp cutting face when working on small alloy and plastic bores to secure consistent pin and fastener fit during assembly.

Because this is a tip-only part it must be fitted into a compatible holder or chuck for safe, controlled reaming. Make short, even passes and keep the tool aligned with the bore to avoid uneven enlargement. Use this reamer tip when fitting new components or confirming alignment as part of chassis setup checks.

To look after the tip, remove debris after each use, inspect the cutting face for wear or damage, and store it dry to reduce corrosion risk. Avoid dropping or striking the tungsten tip as the cutting edge can chip.
