Upper joint ball-top replacement for off-road

This 85mm plastic ball-top damper is supplied as an aftermarket replacement for the Associated RC 10 GT 2RS off-road chassis. The pair includes dust-proof black covers, washers and mounting screws and is focused on the ball-end interface and shock linkage seating rather than internal shock fluid systems.

Fitting is simple for those familiar with the RC10 GT 2RS shock arrangement: remove the existing ball-top, mount the washers, fasten the supplied screws with the correct hex key and then seat the dust cover to limit ingress of dirt. Standard hex drivers are sufficient; torque the screws to the vehicle guidelines.

Functionally this part addresses clearance and pivot seating at the upper shock joint instead of changing damping behavior. Model ADP085 is often selected to replace worn tops or to provide an easy to maintain plastic option for dusty running surfaces.
