Intended function and benefits

This titanium universal swing shaft is an RC-scale driveline upgrade designed for the Associated RC 18T chassis. Supplied as a 1pr set in a CVD-style layout, the shafts replace standard swing shafts to deliver better wear resistance and consistent behaviour over time.

In practice the shafts are fitted where the stock CVD interface is present and act as a tuning element by stiffening the connection between gearbox outputs and wheel hubs. That reduced play helps retain alignment through repeated use without altering suspension geometry.

Fitting the shafts involves removing the rear driveline components and checking mating points for correct clearance and orientation of the CVD ends before final assembly.

A direct aftermarket replacement for Associated RC 18T drivetrains when a titanium CVD-style swing shaft pair is preferred to improve durability and reduce play.
