The AR100S ball differential is an aftermarket option for the Associated RC18T and compatible Latrax vehicles. Steel and aluminium components are combined to deliver a balance of strength and reduced rotating mass for model-scale drivetrains.

Precision balls and thrust washers produce consistent differential action. The diff incorporates a Delrin pulley and aluminium output cups where low friction helps efficiency, and ball bearings reduce drag on the main rotating parts.

Preload adjustment is controlled by the central screw: increasing preload makes the diff more resistant to wheel speed differences, while reducing preload allows freer differential rotation. This makes quick setup changes possible to match different surfaces and handling goals.
