Precision ball differential joints for RC18T

This set contains alloy front and rear ball differential joints designed for Associated RC18T models. Supplied as a 2 piece set, each joint secures with a lock nut to replace the original plastic components with a metal upgrade.

As a direct replacement and tuning option, alloy joints alter friction at the differential output and can be used to refine traction and cornering on 1/18 on-road vehicles. These parts are intended for hobby RC use only.

Fitting is straightforward for those familiar with diff work: remove the diff cover, extract the factory ball joint, install the alloy item, and tighten the supplied lock nut to the manufacturer recommended torque. Standard hand tools suffice and light threadlocker can be used for longer retention.

Maintain these metal drivetrain parts by cleaning after hard runs, inspecting the ball seat for wear, and replacing if any play develops. Using compatible differential lubricants will preserve mating surfaces and help keep handling consistent.
