Motor mounting solution for AX10 Scorpion

This motor plate is designed to fit the AX10 Scorpion chassis and take 28mm brushless motors, forming a fixed mounting face that positions the motor relative to the spur and pinion so you can achieve consistent gear mesh and a secure fit within the chassis architecture.

Install on the bench by seating the motor and checking pinion to spur engagement before tightening hardware. Ensure clearance from the servo and ESC and tweak the plate position or add thin shims as required to attain quiet, repeatable mesh. Use compatible screws and confirm thread engagement with the chassis mounting points.

As a tuning aid, the plate allows controlled motor offset and alignment adjustments without changing gearbox internals. Small motor movements will influence gear noise and heat, so validate mesh during short loaded trials rather than relying on one static adjustment.
