This outer portal drive housing is produced in brass for AXIAL Capra 1.9 Unlimited platforms to increase unsprung mass at each wheel and influence crawling performance. The component fits either front or rear portal housings when wheel inner diameter and mounting clearances are suitable.
Each brass housing adds approximately 64g to the wheel end, raising contact pressure on obstacles and aiding the vehicle to recover from lodged positions through improved low-speed traction and stability. The housing outer diameter is 43mm, so only wheels with inner bores greater than 43mm will accept the unit.
As a direct aftermarket replacement for hobby-grade rock crawlers and trail machines, this housing does not include gears or bearings and must be mounted using the supplied cap head screws. Always verify clearance and fit before final assembly.
