This stainless steel centre gear box bottom protector is made for the AXIAL CAPRA 1.9 UNLIMITED chassis and is supplied as 1 pcs. It installs beneath the central gearbox to reduce ingress of sand and small stones and to limit impact damage during off-road trail and scale rock crawling.
Construction: made from stainless steel to improve corrosion resistance where moisture and dirt combine, appropriate for repeated outdoor use. The plate features locating holes aligned with the upper main shaft fasteners so the main shaft can be serviced without removing the protector, maintaining ease of maintenance.
Installation notes: place the protector over the gearbox mounting points, use original screws where viable, and confirm clearance to surrounding drivetrain components before first use. This is an aftermarket chassis accessory and does not alter internal gearbox geometry.
Tuning role: a practical chassis safeguard adding abrasion and impact protection to the centre gearbox area. After heavy runs inspect fasteners and ground clearance and adjust chassis balance as required.
