The EX049 alloy steering rack is an aftermarket replacement for Axial EXO style models. Supplied as 1pcs, it swaps the factory plastic rack for a metal unit to increase rigidity while preserving steering geometry and scale fit.
Fit this alloy rack to reduce steering linkage flex, improving crispness when cornering and aiding finer adjustments to toe and ackermann. It should be considered a tuning or maintenance upgrade rather than an absolute performance guarantee.
Installation note: built to match the EXO steering layout. Confirm the existing mounting points and link lengths before installation and retain or reuse suitable hardware where possible to keep original alignment and track settings.
