Rear shock damper for EXO vehicles

This adjustable rear spring damper is an RC-scale aftermarket replacement intended for Axial Racing EXO machines, supplied as 1pr and finished in alloy for enhanced chassis resilience. It is aimed at rear suspension duties on EXO-style rigs and provides a practical way to alter spring preload while maintaining low-speed damping characteristics.

Installation is simple for those comfortable with shock swaps: remove the original rear dampers, mount the alloy replacements in the existing rear shock mounts, fasten with the stock hardware and check clearance through the suspension travel before the first outing. Common hex drivers are all that is required.

When tuning, match spring preload and damping to vehicle weight and surface type. Make measured preload changes, perform short evaluation runs and observe squat, rebound and traction; small preload adjustments can noticeably refine rear-end behaviour for crawling and trail work.

They are designed for EXO rear mounting but it is recommended to confirm mount spacing and that stock hardware clears before final tightening.
Verify secure fastening, confirm there is no binding through full travel, and fine tune preload after an initial short run to settle components.
Only basic hex drivers are needed to remove and refit the rear shocks; no specialised tools are required for this swap.
