This aftermarket anodized aluminum steering linkage is designed for Axial Racing SCX-10 Honcho and Dingo scale crawlers to reduce flex and improve steering stability. The unit is finished in black and sold as a model accessory for hobby use only.
Installation notes: remove the original plastic linkage, inspect thread engagement on steering knuckles and servo horn, and transfer existing rod ends where thread form matches. Recentre the servo prior to final adjustment and set toe and steering trim. Test full travel to ensure there is no contact with suspension or chassis components.
Tuning role: using an aluminum linkage lowers elastic deformation, helping preserve factory steering geometry under load. Use it to fine-tune steering consistency with adjustments to servo endpoints and drag link geometry rather than relying on the part alone to correct alignment issues.
