This aluminium upper Y-arm has been made for the Axial SCX-10 Honcho chassis and is finished in black. It swaps out the OEM plastic component for a machined alloy part intended to preserve steering geometry under load and provide a stable mounting point for the upper link.
Fitment is straightforward: the arm uses the stock mounting points on the SCX-10 Honcho and the original hardware. Recommended fit checks are pivot alignment, correct seating of ball studs or pins, and confirming free movement through the full suspension travel. No specialised adapters are required beyond standard hex drivers and hand tools.
Functionally this is a chassis-level upgrade that does not change the suspension layout but gives a firmer reference point for camber, caster and roll centre adjustments through link changes and mount selection. It is useful when you need consistent setups for scale crawl events or precise trail runs.
