What the protector does

This axle protector mount is a scale accessory intended for AXIAL Racing SCX10 II vehicles to reduce damage to the axle housing from direct impacts. It pairs an aluminium mounting plate with a resilient plastic protector to help absorb strikes from trail features.

Fitted over the axle housing, the mount routes contact forces into the protector unit rather than the axle case, which can reduce denting and severe hits to the axle components. Two 2.5x16 stainless steel cap head screws are included for installation, and the lightweight construction aims to keep handling changes to a minimum.

Check steering sweep and suspension travel for clearance before first runs, and use the protector to preserve axle internals on technical courses. This is an aftermarket RC part for model vehicles only.
