6061 T6 aluminium hex adapters for use with SCX10 II and UMG10 axles

This hex adapter set is intended to connect wheel hubs to axles on AXIAL SCX10 II and UMG10 models. Built from 6061 T6 aluminium, the adapters are aimed at hobbyists who want a firmer metal interface rather than the stock plastic hexes for crawling and technical trail driving.

The adapters locate the wheel on the axle and are secured with the included steel pins and stainless cap head screws. The set includes a flat-style front hex and a raised rear hex so they match common axle and hub clearances found in SCX10 II-style builds. Use them to replace stripped plastic hexes or where a stiffer wheel mount is needed.

Fitting procedure: remove the wheel and existing hex, slide the aluminium adapter onto the axle, align the retention hole and fit the supplied pin and cap head screw. A snug fit is normal; check wheel runout and free spin once fitted. No motor or ESC alterations are required.

Tuning considerations: aluminium hexes reduce hub flex and may change steering feel at low speeds and wheel centring under load. Adjust wheel offset and suspension settings to retain the handling balance you want.
